Eligibility:
Membership is open to individuals of Sri Lankan descent and others who share the organisation's vision and objectives.
Categories of Membership:
Ordinary Members:
Individuals who actively participate in UGSLO initiatives and events.
Contribute to the growth and success of UGSLO projects.
Corporate Members:
Organisations or businesses supporting UGSLO's vision through partnerships or contributions to projects and goals.
Honorary Members:
Individuals recognised for outstanding contributions to Sri Lanka or UGSLO's mission and values.
Rights and Duties of Members
Rights:
Participate in meetings, discussions, and events.
Vote on key matters affecting the organisation.
Stand for office or nominate others for leadership roles.
Duties:
Uphold UGSLO's values, mission, and objectives.
Actively contribute to initiatives, projects, and events.
Maintain ethical conduct and promote unity within the organisation.
Respect the rules, regulations, and decisions of UGSLO.
Rules and Regulations for Members
General Conduct:

Members must act respectfully and ethically at all times.
b.
Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Participation and Contributions:
a.
Members are expected to engage in activities and actively promote UGSLO initiatives.
b.
Corporate members should provide agreed-upon resources or support to UGSLO projects.
Meetings and Voting:
a.
Attendance at meetings is encouraged to ensure active participation.
b.
Voting rights apply to all members except honorary members, who may provide advisory input.
Fees and Donations:
a.
Membership is free; however, voluntary donations to support UGSLO activities are welcomed.
Termination of Membership:
a.
Membership may be revoked if a member violates UGSLO rules, fails to uphold organisational values, or engages in actions detrimental to UGSLO's mission.
Amendments to Rules:
a.
UGSLO reserves the right to update rules and regulations as necessary to support organisational growth and governance.
